Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) hold tremendous promise for understanding and addressing this problem.
How might CGM be used to address the metabolic health crisis in Australia?
This open-source research program has been developed by Vively and Digital Health CRC to assist university students and researchers in answering this question by investigating the use of CGMs, wearables and artificial intelligence (AI) to tackle one of the largest health problems of our generation.
For students and researchers:
Vively is a start-up metabolic health platform that uses CGM, AI and health coaching to support and educate patients with metabolic health conditions. Vively will support university students (Hons, Masters and PhD) and researchers with the following:
- Ability to use the Vively product for research
- Access to data from thousands of users who have consented to sharing their data for research purposes
- A network of allied health clinicians
- A stipend of up to $10,000 to support research (as applicable)
- Ongoing support and mentorship from leaders across medicine, technology and research
The list of research questions below have been identified as current gaps in the research and areas with high impact potential. They can be sorted and filtered by target area.
