Vively pricing: membership, Baseline and add-on tests

Vively costs $99 a month with no minimum term, and the Baseline Health Check of 70+ markers is included. Your membership pays for the analysis, report, app and practitioner support, including a targeted re-test after 3 months.

What does the monthly membership include?

Vively is an Australian preventative health membership that brings blood testing, an understandable report and practitioner support together. You can see your results in the app, discuss what they mean and agree on practical changes that fit your circumstances.

The Baseline Health Check is included in membership. It looks at 70+ markers across areas such as metabolic health, blood health, liver and kidney function. Your results help your practitioner decide what deserves attention and what may need a discussion with your GP.

Membership is an ongoing monthly payment. The $99 amount is not a one-off price for a blood test. If you are comparing Vively with another service, compare the recurring commitment and included support as well as the initial test.

How does Medicare fit into the price?

The Baseline lab tests can be Medicare-rebated (bulk-billed); your membership pays for the analysis, your report, the app and your practitioner. The membership fee is never rebated by Medicare.

A GP from our network signs your request after a short telehealth consult, so you don't need to visit your own GP first. That medical referral is part of arranging the blood test. It does not mean the membership itself becomes a Medicare service.

Keep the laboratory testing and membership separate when you compare costs. A Medicare-rebated blood test can still sit within a paid membership. Equally, an optional add-on test can have its own price. Add-on tests are private pay with no Medicare rebate, even though the Baseline lab tests can be rebated.

If you are unsure whether the testing arrangements apply to your circumstances, check with the team before signing up. Your usual GP remains an important part of your care, particularly for symptoms, abnormal findings and ongoing medical conditions.

What happens after you join?

We arrange the short telehealth GP consult and signed test request. You then attend a collection centre in our network, which includes 3,700+ centres across Australia. Follow the preparation instructions on your request, including any fasting instructions, rather than assuming every blood test has the same requirements.

Results are usually available within a few days. They appear in your report and app, and a practitioner helps you understand what they mean. You can read how Vively works for the steps from joining to reviewing your results.

Your report is a starting point for a conversation. A flagged marker does not diagnose a condition by itself, and an in-range result does not explain every symptom. Our article on reading blood test results explains how reference ranges and context fit together.

What does practitioner support cover?

Membership includes a 1:1 practitioner consult to review results after every Baseline, plus check-ins between tests. You receive a personal testing plan, with diet, lifestyle and supplement recommendations suited to the findings and your circumstances.

The purpose of that plan is to decide what is useful next. It may include an advanced add-on test, a home kit or continuous glucose monitoring when appropriate. It can also help you avoid buying tests that do not answer the question you are trying to resolve.

Which markers are re-tested after 3 months?

The included re-test is targeted. The selection depends on your results and personal testing plan, rather than automatically repeating all 70+ Baseline markers.

This matters when budgeting and setting expectations. You are paying for follow-up that relates to your findings, with practitioner support between tests. You are not buying an unlimited series of identical panels. Ask your practitioner which markers are being followed and what the repeat result will help you decide.

When do add-on tests cost extra?

Add-on tests are priced individually, and some cost under $50. They can answer questions that the Baseline does not cover. The price depends on the test, so check the current listing in our test catalogue before proceeding.

An add-on is optional. Start with the question you need answered, then discuss whether a test is suitable. Buying more tests does not automatically produce a clearer explanation of how you feel. It can create results that need follow-up without changing your care.

Home kits and continuous glucose monitoring are also separate purchases. Your personal testing plan can help you decide whether either is relevant. The monthly membership price should not be read as including every optional product in the catalogue.

Do I need a referral from my own GP?
