Start with what you need

Which service could suit you?

The right choice depends on why you want a test and the support you want afterwards.

How it works

How ordering a blood test online works

  1. Choose your test online

Pick a single test, a panel or a membership and pay online.

  2. The service arranges your test request

There’s no GP appointment to book. A doctor working with the service reviews your order and issues the pathology request, which is emailed to you.

  3. Visit a collection centre

Walk in at a partner pathology centre near you. Vively members can choose from 3,700+ centres. Most blood draws take about 10 minutes, and some tests need you to fast first.

Find a centre in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.

  4. Get your results

Most services send results within 1 to 3 days. With Vively, they appear in the app against optimal ranges, then a dietitian talks you through them and builds your plan.

01

Understand what your results mean

See your results across 10 health areas, with explanations, optimal ranges where available and estimated biological age. Talk them through with a dietitian and ask about the findings you don’t understand.

02

Make a plan around your life

Discuss your energy, weight goals, eating habits and what you’ve already tried. Work with your dietitian on changes to food and daily routines that are realistic for you.

03

Ask questions as you go

Keep your plan and food log in the app. Message your practitioner when you need help putting the advice into practice. Replies depend on practitioner availability.

Inside the Vively app

Make sense of the numbers on your blood test.

Open a result to see its explanation and how it compares with the lab’s reference range and Vively’s optimal range, where available.

These ranges give you a starting point for a conversation. Your practitioner helps you consider your results alongside your history, goals and current care.

What’s an optimal range?

The lab’s reference range and Vively’s optimal range are different guides. An optimal range is a target used in Vively’s interpretation. Being outside it does not, by itself, mean you have a condition or need treatment. Biological age is also an estimate, not a diagnosis or a prediction of how long you will live.

A practitioner who gets to know you

Bring your questions. Leave with a plan you understand.

Your consultation is a chance to discuss what brought you to Vively, what you’ve already tried and what you need help with. Your dietitian works with you on a nutrition, lifestyle and supplementation plan you can return to in the app. Continue your membership for ongoing support, or cancel before your next renewal.

That might mean finding meals that work around your schedule, understanding your eating patterns or deciding which habits to work on first.

Dietitians provide guidance within their professional scope. Doctors review blood-test requests. Keep your GP involved in diagnosis, treatment and medication decisions.

Your planExample

Make weekday lunches easier

Start with your routine

Discuss work hours, food preferences and any advice from your treating practitioner.

Agree on something practical

Choose two suitable lunch options with your dietitian and decide what preparation is realistic.

Bring back what was difficult

Comparing Vively and Everlab

Choose the kind of support you want.

Vively’s $99 Baseline covers 10 key health areas and includes a dietitian results consultation and a personalised nutrition, lifestyle and supplementation plan. It can suit people working on energy, weight and long-term health. Continue for ongoing support at $99/month, or cancel before your next renewal.

Everlab’s higher plans focus on doctor-led diagnostics and longevity. Diagnostic is $1,199/year with advanced testing, DEXA and doctor reviews. Protocol is $2,999/year with ongoing doctor care and structured retesting. Its smaller Baseline assessment includes foundational bloods and a doctor consultation for $299/year.

Both services support people thinking about their long-term health. The difference is the care you want: a doctor-led assessment with scans and medical follow-up, or a monthly membership with dietitian guidance for everyday nutrition and lifestyle.

Vively renews monthly until cancelled. Everlab’s plans have annual prices and different inclusions. Compare the service you need, not only the first payment.

Before you join

Your questions, answered.

Talk to the Vively team →
Which health areas does Vively’s Baseline cover?

Baseline covers 10 key health areas, including heart and metabolic health, liver and kidney function, blood count, thyroid and selected nutrients. The 70+ figure includes calculated measures as well as laboratory results. A doctor reviews which tests are appropriate for you. Explore the test library.

Are hormone panels included in the $99 membership?

Specialty hormone panels are optional extras, priced separately. You can discuss your questions and goals with your practitioner; a doctor decides whether testing is appropriate. New or persistent symptoms need medical assessment. A blood test alone may not explain how you feel.

Do I need to see my own GP first?

You don’t need to book your own GP to arrange the request. Vively arranges doctor review through its network. The doctor decides which tests are appropriate and whether to issue a pathology request. You then visit a collection centre. See how it works.

What does the $99 membership include?

Your first $99 includes the Baseline Health Check and first month of Full Membership. Renews automatically at $99/month until cancelled. Cancel anytime to stop future renewals. Optional tests and CGM cost extra. Testing is subject to doctor review. Baseline covers 10 key health areas, with 70+ markers and calculated measures, optimal ranges where available and estimated biological age. Full Membership includes app access, a dietitian results consultation, a personalised nutrition, lifestyle and supplementation plan and in-app practitioner messaging. View current inclusions.

Can I cancel after the first month?

Yes. You can cancel through the app or contact support to stop future renewals. Access continues until the end of your paid period. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current period; your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply. Read the terms.

Can I get another Baseline blood test?

Membership includes eligibility to request a further Baseline referral. Your previous test must be completed, at least three calendar months must have passed since your previous referral was arranged, and you must have accrued 90 days of active membership since that referral. Time while cancelled does not count. A doctor decides whether testing is appropriate and which tests to request. There is no guaranteed blood draw on day 90. See section 6.1D of the membership terms.

Can Medicare cover the cost?

Eligible doctor-requested pathology may be covered by Medicare. Vively’s membership fee is separate and is not covered by Medicare. Private add-ons can have separate fees. Check your eligibility and charges before joining. Read the blood-test cost guide.

Is Vively a replacement for my GP?

No. Vively’s ongoing practitioner support focuses on nutrition and lifestyle. Your GP remains the person to see for symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prescriptions. New or persistent symptoms need medical assessment, even if a blood result is within a displayed range.

Can I order a blood test online in Australia?

Yes. Vively, iMedical, MediTests, i-screen and Everlab all let you order online without booking your own GP. Each service arranges the pathology request through its doctors, then you visit a collection centre for the blood draw. For new or worrying symptoms, see your GP.

How much does an online blood test cost?

Single tests start at about $20 to $50. For example, a full blood count was $22 at iMedical (plus a $19 fee without a panel) and $49.95 at MediTests on 20 October 2026. Broad panels cost $140 to $500. Vively’s $99 includes a 70+ marker Baseline Health Check and your first month of membership, then $99 a month.

Which online blood test is best?

It depends on what you want afterwards. If you know which marker you want checked, a pay-per-test service such as iMedical, MediTests or i-screen is the cheapest way to get it. If you want a broad check with someone to explain your results and a plan to act on them, Vively includes that for $99. If you want scans and doctor-led care, Everlab’s yearly plans include them.

How long do online blood test results take?

iMedical, MediTests and i-screen send most results within 24 to 48 hours. Vively results appear in the app within a few days. Some specialised tests take longer.
